Do you feel like your body is fit enough?  Slim enough?  Trim, firm, cut, ripped, strong enough?  Unless you develop a sense of self-compassion it never will be any of those things.  #truestory

The same can be said about how you eat, how you sleep, how you manage stress. It will never be ____ enough until you can view your body through compassion.

There is the assumption that compassion is giving up, resolving to look a certain way forever, to stop caring.

But it's the exact opposite.

Consider this:

Right now, you may be in the middle of a diet.  Or an exercise program.  Or you may be in limbo because you aren't sure what's next.  Or what to chose.  Or which Monday to start again.

Maybe you've assumed you've had a hard time changing your body because haven't tried hard enough, didn't find the right plan, or that you are a failure.  If you've ever lost and then gained or lost and then have been afraid to gain, you can probably relate.

Until now, you've been trying to change your body because you don't like it.

In the last 5 years, I've supported nearly 1,000 women.  

There's one difference between those who fully embrace a healthy lifestyle and those who keep on the cycle of diet-cheat-diet harder-cheat more-feel defeated:  compassion.

It doesn't have to be this way


Look, I know where you are, because I was there, too -- for 15 years!  Even after losing 70 pounds, I wasn't satisfied with my body, and I continued to want to chip away at my body, bit by bit.  It was exhausting, mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Once I learned to show compassion to my body, my world changed.  Eating well and moving my body were no longer moral dilemmas or something I used to punish myself.  Looking in the mirror no longer ruined my day.  There was less pressure from myself to be perfect.  And I sought less approval and validation from others.  

I've spent the last 4 years being mentored in and studying compassion.  Of all kinds.

Self-compassion has always been part of how I support women, but it's only been in the background.  It's been a side dish to the main course of nutrition and/or exercise.

And, though it was never the sole focus, it's always been what's delivered the most astounding results.  It's also been the favorite piece of coaching my clients have received.

Because it redirects thoughts, engages new feelings, creates a new path to ease in your body.

Compassion is the connection between mind and body, love and progress, understanding and peace.

It's time to put compassion for our bodies front and center instead of as afterthought, something that we do once we lose those last 10 pounds.

Get {re}Connected is a 4 week journey to getting your head right with your body and beyond.  

This is a small community of like-minded women.  You don't have do this alone.  Ever.

Master the art of compassion for your body and feel your daily life shift.

What's included:

This private Facebook community will be highly interactive and is where the bulk of your personalize support will come from.  This will allow you to connect with other women, get support from many angles, and end the feeling of isolation.
Keeping this group small is paramount to your success.  There is no way you can be left behind or forgotten.  This small group will move fast and create a massive shift in your daily life.  This group will be a new sisterhood for you: people who get you.
You'll have lifetime access to the 8 videos and written lessons to refer to, refresh your memory, keep your own support system going.  These are part of a membership site, where you will receive a login and password.  Additionally, if any changes or enhancements are made in the future, you'll receive those, too.
Because one-on-one time is important, too, you'll get one private call with me to use at any time during the 4-week program.  This allows you to really tailor this program to what YOU need.  And who doesn't love some quiet time with a coach?

Why compassion?

Compassion allows you to view your body in a new light.  It redirects your need for acceptance from others to seeking it from yourself.  It drives you to stop punishing your body with words, food, and exercise and leads you to actually care for and about your body.  

Without compassion, you are never really "done" with dieting, changing your body, criticizing your appearance.  Without compassion, you'll stay in a loop of forever seeking and rarely experiencing.   Without compassion, you are using hate as a tool for change, which isn't sustainable, and it just doesn't feel good.

  • q-iconHow much support do I get?

    With daily interactions in the members-only Facebook group, you can ask questions and get support within hours.   Participating in the private Facebook community is a crucial part of this program.  If you do not wish to share with 19 other participants, you can opt for totally private and one-on-one support.  Visit this link to get info for private coaching.

  • q-iconHow much time do I need to invest?

    There are 2 video lessons per week for you to watch, along with a short assignment with each video.  The videos and assignments are short but impactful.  Factor about just an hour per WEEK to devote to Get {re}Connected.  Most of your time will be spent in personal reflection and interacting in our private Facebook group.  We will be moving quickly and making steady progress.  This program will not consume your life, but it will shift it!

  • q-iconWhat if life gets busy and I fall behind?

    We all get busy and have things come up.  I’m asking now that you commit 4 weeks to yourself and the community.  It’s fine if you can’t be in our group every day.  But blocking off 15 minutes as many days as possible for personal reflection and interacting in the group will help you make the most of this program for YOU.  Since this is a small group, I’ll notice if you aren’t participating, and I’ll gently guide you back to making the most of this for yourself.

  • q-iconWhat else do I need to buy to make this work?

    A fresh journal for your personal reflections.  It can be a nicely bound journal with thick pages or a spiral notebook that makes you feel like a student again.  And if you want to have an excuse to buy yourself a fancy and fun pen, then consider this permission.
